  • 250gm Butter or Margarine.
  • 3 Tea Cups Self raising flour.
  • 1½ Tea Cup Sugar (then grind)
 
  • 6 Eggs.
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla Essence.
  • A little milk



  1. Whisk ground sugar and butter thoroughly in a bowl.
  2. Add eggs one at a time and whisk thoroughly. Add essence. You may add all the eggs together if you are going to whisk with a machine.
  3. Add the flour a little at a time and again whisk thoroughly.
  4. Add a little milk if you find the consistency of the mixture hard.
  5. Taking a round spoon pour sufficient quantity of the mixture into paper cake cups ensuring not to fill to the top as this would otherwise overflow during baking.
  6. Bake at 150°C for 30-40 minutes.
