  • 5 cup rice
  • 125g peeled prawns
  • 125g diced chicken
  • 3 eggs lightly beaten
  • 4 Tbs. oil
 
  • 1 Tsp. salt
  • 1 Tsp. Ajinomoto
  • Soy sauce to taste
  • 3 sticks spring onion chopped



  1. Boil sufficient water to immerse rice completely.
  2. Add rice in the boiling water and let it cook till soft but not soggy.
  3. Drain all water after rice is cooked.
  4. Heat oil in wok and stir-fry prawns and chicken together until the prawns become red and chicken is cooked through.
  5. Add the eggs and quickly stir-fry breaking the eggs into small pieces.
  6. Now add the cooked rice into the wok and mix all the ingredients together on low heat.
  7. Add salt and Ajinomoto and mix thoroughly.
  8. Add dark soy sauce just enough to change the colour of the rice and mix well.
  9. Finally add the spring onions and mix well. Add some more oil if you need to fry well.
