  • 1 kg boneless chicken cut into small cubes
  • 10 tomatoes blended
  • 2 big onions chopped
  • 2 Tsp. garlic crushed
  • 2 Tsp. ginger crushed
  • 1 ½ cup yogurt
  • 5-6 green chilies chopped
  • 1 bunch dhania chopped
  • Juice of 1 medium lemon
  • 1 Tsp. jeera whole 
 
  • 2 Tbs. butter
  • 2 Tsp. red chili powder
  • ½ Tsp. haldi
  • 1 cup oil for bagar
  • 1 Tsp. jeera ground
  • 8 whole black pepper ground
  • 6 cloves ground
  • 4 elaichi ground
  • 1 Tsp. kala namak
  • 1 Tsp. amchur
  • 1 small ginger cut small strips



Please note at all times that as you keep adding ingredients they should be continuously stirred.

  1. Fry onion in oil until golden brown on high heat, preferably on a heavy based tawa.
  2. Add ginger + garlic.
  3. Add blended tomatoes.
  4. Add green chilies.
  5. Add chili powder, haldi and stir-fry.
  6. Now add chicken and stir-fry for about five minutes.
  7. Add freshly ground spices and stir.
  8. Add kala namak.
  9. Add yogurt.
  10. Add chat masala
  11. Crush whole jeera in your palms and add. Stir-fry and add ginger strips.
  12. Add lemon juice and stir.
  13. Add butter.
  14. Add dhania.
