  • 1 big piece ginger
  • 3 big cloves garlic
  • 1 Tbs. vinegar
  • 1 Tbs. tomato puree
 
  • 1½ Tbs. sugar
  • 2 Tbs. corn flour
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • Juice of 1 big lemon

  1. Crush ginger and garlic and boil in one cup of water for at least 5 minutes.
  2. Add vinegar as it boils together with tomato puree, tomato sauce, sugar and lemon. All these to be added one at a time and continuously stirring the liquid.
  3. Mi the corn flour in ½ cup of water and add a little at a time whilst stirring until it thickens.

Sweet and Sour sauce is ready.
